Nissan G35 Custom 5-Gauge Pillar Pod

I designed and built this custom A-pillar pod for a Nissan G35 to hold five gauges in one clean, factory-style unit. I started by 3D scanning the original pillar trim so the design was based on the car’s real geometry rather than estimates. Then I modelled the pod in CAD around that scan, angling all five gauges toward the driver so they’re easy to read at a glance. After 3D printing the pod, I post-processed it until it looked like an OEM part and not a printed one. It fit perfectly on install and looks like it came with the car.
